When will I receive the pre-checkup paperwork?
For an individual or company checkup, preparation materials are sent about two to three weeks before your appointment.
How long does a checkup take?
A comprehensive medical examination takes around four to five hours on average. Patients receiving sedation for a gastric endoscopy need a further hour of rest afterward.
Can I take my regular medication on the day?
If you need to take medication, please do so with a small amount of water before 6am. Some diabetes medications should not be taken while fasting, so please confirm with your treating physician beforehand.
Can I wear contact lenses during the checkup?
Contact lenses must be removed for vision and eye pressure testing, fundus photography, and MRI. If you wear disposable lenses, please bring a fresh pair. Bringing glasses helps the testing go smoothly.
Can I be examined if I have a cold or am feeling unwell?
A cold or similar illness can affect some test results. If possible, we recommend rescheduling your appointment.
Can I be examined during my period?
Stool testing and gynecological examination cannot be performed, though you are welcome to reschedule if you prefer. A urine sample is still required on the day, as it is a core checkup item.
Can I be examined if I am pregnant or may be pregnant?
X-ray tests (chest, stomach, mammography, bone density), CT (visceral fat, low-dose lung cancer CT), MRI, and endoscopy cannot be performed. Please let us know in advance.
What should I know if I am breastfeeding?
As a rule, breast palpation and mammography cannot be performed. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is possible only if you can avoid breastfeeding for 24 hours afterward. If you have an upper GI X-ray (barium test), we can provide a laxative with minimal effect on a nursing infant; please mention that you are breastfeeding during your pre-checkup interview.
Can I be examined if I have had breast augmentation surgery?
Mammography cannot be performed. Please let us know in advance.
Can I be examined if I use a wheelchair?
Generally yes, though please contact us in advance. Patients with a disability wishing to be examined are also welcome to contact us ahead of time so we can arrange the schedule.

Is parking available?
Parking may not always be available, for example during school-zone hours; we recommend public transport where possible.
I have lost my receipt. Can it be reissued?
We do not reissue receipts, so please keep yours safe. A paid certificate of payment can be issued instead; please call us for pricing and turnaround time.
