About our centre
Our Health Checkup Centre is used by many people from this community with a long relationship with the hospital across outpatient and inpatient care. Alongside the checkup itself, we place weight on lifestyle change centred on a plant-based diet and not smoking, aimed at building a body less prone to illness. We have also worked to strengthen our facilities and expertise, holding accreditation as a health checkup facility, as a training facility for health checkup physicians, and with staff certified as health checkup specialists and mammography readers, so patients can visit with confidence.
Continuity of care
Where a checkup finding calls for further testing or treatment, we share clinical data with the outpatient building at Tokyo Adventist Hospital, so you can move into outpatient care smoothly, with support available at each stage of life and health.
A centre attentive to women
Many people feel some hesitation about breast and cervical cancer screening. To make this easier, our examinations are carried out by female physicians, technicians, and staff. We have also chosen more comfortable examination gowns, offer a blanket for patients who feel the cold, and aim to create a space where our female patients can feel as relaxed as possible. Please also talk to us if this is your first checkup, or if you feel particularly anxious about it. Our own examination gown is designed with a soft fabric and hook-and-loop fastening that keeps the front from opening.
