Procedure
Please complete the following at the hospital's general reception desk.
- Visitors must enter through the main entrance (not the obstetrics ward entrance).
- Please wear a mask inside the building.
- Please use the hand sanitiser provided.
- Please complete a visitor record card and wear your visitor badge.
Please note
- To prevent in-hospital infection, children aged 12 and under cannot enter the pediatric ward.
- Please sanitise your hands when entering or leaving a patient room.
- Please do not visit (or accompany a patient) while under the influence of alcohol.
- Please do not go to the ward before visiting hours begin.
- Please return your visitor badge to reception when you leave.
Obstetrics ward visiting
To protect against infection in the obstetrics ward, we ask visitors and companions to follow the guidance below. Arrangements can change at short notice, so please check the hospital website or the Baby Plus smartphone app for the latest information.
Newborn nursery
Please complete a visitor card and collect a visitor badge at general reception.

After delivery, the mother books a nursery viewing slot.
Obstetrics ward
Family members must wear a mask on arrival. Please avoid visiting in large groups. Please complete a visitor record card and collect a visitor badge at general reception. Only a patient's own children aged 12 or under may visit.
A doctor's permission is required to bring in food or drink. Please check in-hospital notices for details on the dessert buffet.
