Parenting Classes by Age

Led by our paediatricians, a paediatric dentist, and public health nurses, held online; especially recommended for first-time parents.

How to book

Booking is by email, at least 3 days before your session (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Held online via the Zoom app.

Infant class

For babies aged 0 to 1 year; content and dates differ by age band.

Early session (newborn to 2 months)

Later session (3 months to 1 year)

Families booking both the early and later sessions together (recommended in separate months) also receive phone consultation with a public health nurse any time until their baby turns one.

Toddler class

For children aged 1 year to school age, held once a year; the date is announced on our website and in printed notices.

Covers building a child's inner resilience, encouraging self-directed behaviour, guidance for an older sibling adjusting to a new baby, and safety points for parents. A camera-equipped device is recommended.

Dental class

For expecting parents and pre-school children, covering oral health, held twice a year, with dates announced on our website and in printed notices.

Booking details

Email kenkokyoiku@tokyoeisei.com, at least 3 days before your session (excluding weekends and public holidays). If your phone carrier filters unfamiliar senders, please allow mail from @tokyoeisei.com.

Please include: subject line “Parenting Class”; your preferred date; the parent's name, patient card number (or date of birth, if new to us), and phone number; your child's age in months; and your preferred payment method.

Once we confirm your booking by email, please complete payment by the stated deadline (bank transfer, details provided by email, transfer fee payable by you; or in person, weekdays 11:00-17:00, Friday until 14:00). A Zoom invitation will follow once payment is confirmed; please join 5 to 15 minutes before the start time (the Zoom app must be installed in advance for a first-time user).
