What a chaplain does
This hospital's care is aimed at whole-person healing, attending to the spirit and mind as well as the body. Our chaplains, staff clergy attached to the hospital, support patients from a different vantage point than clinical staff.
We hope that, through this hospital's care, everyone here can encounter something of the gentle regard and lasting promise of God, the creator of life.
What our chaplains do
Room visits
A chaplain visits inpatients, listening in consultation with your physician and nurse, according to what you'd like to talk about.
In-room broadcast
Your room television carries the following programming:

You're also welcome to join Bible Hour in person; please let a nurse know if you'd like to attend and sing along.
A blessing at discharge
If you would like it, our chaplain can offer a short prayer of blessing with your family when your baby is discharged from our obstetrics service. Please ask obstetrics ward or nursery staff by the day before discharge.
