Tokyo Adventist Hospital has been accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI), an international healthcare accreditation body. JCI accreditation evaluates hospitals against international standards to support the continuous improvement of care quality and patient safety.
We underwent this review to sustain a standard of care patients can trust, and to keep raising the level of medicine we provide. Preparation took several years, led by a dedicated office, our quality management department, and section chiefs, with staff working together toward a shared goal of improving care for our patients.
Accreditation itself was never the goal; our aim is to keep growing so we can continue offering better care. We see this not as an endpoint but as a new starting point.
We will keep working, day by day, toward patient safety and the quality of our care, guided by our philosophy: to make man whole through Christ's love, serving each person.
