Our philosophy
We ease the pain of mind and body for those living with cancer, and for their families
We respect each person's way of living, and serve with the heart of Christ.
We provide warm, specialist palliative care suited to each person's symptoms and needs, whether as an outpatient, at home, or as an inpatient, always with the individual at the centre.
Our care is intended mainly for cancer patients, and adapts to symptoms and needs across outpatient, home, and inpatient settings. Our team includes specialist physicians across several fields and certified nurses. Drawing on experience from home-care settings and university-hospital palliative care teams, they provide comprehensive pain management from an early stage through to end of life.
If a patient returning home after cancer treatment, or a patient already at home, is experiencing worsening pain, please contact our hospice consultation office. Even for patients not pursuing active treatment who do not need immediate admission, our hospice coordinators follow up and can move a patient from home care to admission when needed.
