Learn the right knowledge and technique for exercise, to help prevent frailty and reduce fall risk.
Launched in May 2024, this class focuses on chair-based strength and mobility exercises, along with routines you can keep up at home. If this sounds relevant to you, we'd encourage you to try a session.

Over four sessions: body composition, physical fitness, and functional movement assessment (at the first and last session); chair-based strength and mobility exercises; guidance for continuing at home; and short talks covering topics such as incontinence-prevention exercises, and oral health, nutrition, and dementia prevention for older adults.
A public health nurse checks blood pressure and other vital signs before and after exercise.
How to book
By phone (03-3392-6151, ask for Health Education) or email (kenkokyoiku@tokyoeisei.com), at least 2 weeks before each session (excluding weekends and public holidays). If emailing, please include the subject line “Fall Prevention” and: your preferred date; your name, patient card number (or date of birth if new to us), phone number, and address. Guidance is sent 2 weeks before the session.
Payment is by cash on the day; details are included in the guidance sent ahead of time.
Depending on the vital-sign check on the day, or information in your pre-session questionnaire, participation may need to be postponed if exercise is judged unsuitable that day.
