Dental (Adventist Dental Clinic)

We hold to hospital-level standards of hygiene while providing treatment attentive to each patient's wishes.

The hospital's dental department relocated in 2020 to a renewed clinic, Adventist Dental Clinic, about 60 metres from the main hospital building.

We provide general dental treatment and regular checkups, dental-side care for patients with diabetes or sleep apnoea, and oral care ahead of surgery or chemotherapy. As the hospital's affiliated dental clinic, we support patients' overall health through coordination with other departments.

Dentists here work under a named-physician system across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and implant treatment, providing attentive, individualised care.

We provide treatment that respects each patient's own wishes; please feel free to talk to us.

What we treat

General dentistry

We treat adult tooth decay and gum disease and provide denture fabrication, among other general dental treatment, covering both insured and private care. Please talk to your dentist about any concern.

Pediatric dentistry

We treat children's dental needs. Our pediatric dentists take a gentle, patient approach even with children who find dental visits difficult.

Implants

Our implant treatment centres on well-established implant systems, backed by more than fifteen years of clinical experience here.

Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment is provided by a specialist orthodontist. An orthodontic consultation costs 5,500 yen (tax included); please book on our orthodontist's clinic day.

Preventive dentistry

We recommend regular maintenance visits to help prevent tooth decay and gum disease, including scaling and professional cleaning (PMTC), and we also offer whitening consultations.

Oral hygiene guidance

Prevention matters most in dental care. We provide brushing guidance, dietary and lifestyle advice, and other oral hygiene guidance aimed at preventing decay and gum disease.

Infection control

Cleaning and sterilisation

We use an automated washer and a European Class B steriliser, with separate rooms for cleaning and sterilisation to maintain thorough hygiene standards.

Medical-grade air purification

We have installed medical-grade air purification equipment designed to remove airborne viral particles, capturing fine particulates down to 0.1 micrometres, to support a comfortable environment for patients during their time in the clinic.

Semi-private treatment rooms

With accessibility and privacy in mind, treatment takes place in bright, semi-private rooms designed to avoid a closed-in feeling.
